Compound brief
Sermorelin
Evidence brief. Not treatment advice or a safety clearance. Last evidence update: September 2026.
What researchers are studying it for
The classic GHRH fragment. It asks an intact pituitary to release growth hormone. It is shorter than tesamorelin and it is not growth hormone itself.
A nightly forum schedule is Grade F in the protocol library. It is not tesamorelin and not an incretin.
Pathway
GHRH(1-29) binds the pituitary GHRH receptor and the gland releases growth hormone if the somatotrophs are intact.
Hepatic IGF-1 is downstream of that growth-hormone pulse. The protocol library separates this fragment from tesamorelin and from exogenous growth hormone.
Forum themes
Forum themes are unverified. They do not outrank a study, and they are not a dose.
Nightly secretagogue pattern · unverified
Forums describe sermorelin as a nightly GHRH pulse and often pair it with a ghrelin peptide. The protocol library tags that pattern F. It is not tesamorelin and not a dose.
From the Catalyst protocol research library. Community schedules there are Grade F and are not a dose.
